Last week on Wednesday, Kelli and I went with our friends Whitney and Jane to the zoo. The weather was great and there were a lot of animals out and about. Mine and Kelli's favorite animal was the tiger. It came right in front of the glass and sat in the water. That was pretty cool. Kelli sure enjoyed the animals a lot more this time than in times past. Kelli sure loves her friend Jane. They are such good buddies.
Kelli is so lucky to have a friend that shares her favorite treats.
Kelli also really liked the giraffes. They are pretty amazing creatures. And of course we couldn't leave without Kelli getting a chance to rock climb. Anytime there is something for her to climb on, she won't miss the opportunity.
Thanks so much Whit and Jane for inviting us to the zoo. We had a great time.

Yay for Spring and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Today is such a warm day. Despite how much I love skiing, I am sure excited for Spring. I love wearing short sleeved shirts and flip flops. I took Kelli outside for a long time and let her play on the playground. Some of her friends were outside, so we got a picture of them as well.
This is a picture of Kelli with her friends Daniel and Liz.

Daddy Daughter Ski Day
I was going to post this story last week, but I totally forgot. My mom and dad came up to Salt Lake last Monday. My mom watched Kelli while my dad and I went skiing at Alta. We picked the perfect ski day. I would have taken pictures of us, but you probably would not have been able to see us, it was snowing so hard. We would get on the chair lift and by the time we got up to the top, we had about a half inch of snow covering us. We skied in about 2 feet of powder for most of the day. It was incredible. We could not have asked for a better day. My dad and I were sure grateful for good gear. Thanks so much again mom and dad.

Where's Jesus?
I just had to put this little story in my blog. It was the cutest thing. This afternoon, Kelli turns to me and out of the blue asks, "Where's Jesus?" I was kind of shocked when she asked me that. I had to take a moment to think about it. As I thought, I told Kelli that Jesus is with us all the time as long and we are nice and do good things. I'm not sure if that was the best description I could give her. It is so amazing what children come up with. I sure learn a lot from her.
