The Impact FHE Can Have On Children

On Monday night, we sat down together as a family and had family home evening. Kelli loves family home evening. We have a picture book of all the famous gospel paintings. This is how we have family home evening with Kelli. Right now we have been going through the Book of Mormon pictures. We were on the picture of Samuel the Lamanite. (You know the one of him on the tower and the Nephites were shooting arrows at him.) Well, we were telling Kelli the story of Samuel the Lamanite. After we were finished, Kelli wanted to say the prayer. In her prayer, she said, "please bless that no bad guys will come and shoot us." It's amazing how little things like a simple story can have such an impact on little kids.

Ultrasound

Here is a little profile picture of our baby boy. It's a little blurry. Ultrasounds are amazing. I am totally amazed how they can put an object up to your belly and you can see what is inside you.

Yoga Classes

I am starting to teach yoga at a different location in the Salt Lake Valley. I think it is a great deal, so I thought I would let all of you know.

The place that I am teaching at is called Far East Fitness. It is located at 3440 E Bengal Blvd (about 7800 South), in Salt Lake City. Most yoga classes are 12 dollars, but the cost at Far East is 10 dollars a class. If you buy a punch card for 10 yoga classes, it only costs 75 dollars. Also, your first class is free.

I teach a regular yoga class on Saturday mornings at 9:00. I will be starting a Prenatal and Postpartum yoga class on March 15th. The class will be held every Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Also, child care is provided. It's 3 dollars for 1 child and 2.50 for more than one child.

The prenatal and postpartum class is designed to relieve the aches and pains associated with pregnancy and will also help with morning sickness and early labor pains. The postpartum part is designed to help mother's bodies heal after child birth and to help get you back into shape.

Personally, I think this is a wonderful opportunity. I know many of you are mothers, and/or mothers to be. If you are interested, come and join my yoga classes. Also, I might start up another yoga class on Thursdays at 1:00 PM. If I can get a decent number, I will start that up as well. And remember, your first class is free, so if you would like to join, I would absolutely love it.
